Mike prefers creative freedom when designing a tattoo however I will always ask for input and preferences when drawing. Mike likes tattooing quick small designs just as much as larger projects. Mike looks forward to working with you on designing and completing your new tattoo.

MIKE'S SCHEDULE & RATES:

MIKE WORKS WEDNESDAY-SATURDAY 10AM-8PM

MIKE LIKES TO FILL HIS DAY AND GET TO AS MANY PROJECTS AS TIME ALLOWS

DUE TO THE LONGER DAYS THERE ARE A VARIETY OF RATES GIVEN

Mike prefers to flat rate all projects whenever possible. Larger projects are harder to do that with so there are day and half day rates available. Unless it is a larger project it will almost always be flat rated. 

​

MINIMUM: $100

A tattoo that meets this requirements varies. However Mike prefers to keep it at a lower rate given how small some tattoos can be and simply because, Mike likes to do simple small tattoos. This does not mean that every "small" tattoo will be the minimum but it is the starting point.

​

SMALLER TATTOOS:PRICE VARIES

Tattoos that will not require a half day appointment, will be priced at a flat rate based on design, size, location on the body, style of tattoo and detail. This is the category most of their flash designs fall into. Mike will flat rate most projects unless, unable to due to lack of information.

HALF DAY RATE: $800

A half of a day appointment is a 3-4 hour appointment that consists of drawing/design layout, tattooing and aftercare instruction. I work fairly fast drawing and tattooing.

*For some large projects a half day may not be an adequate amount of time to start the project and a full day session will be needed.

FULL DAY RATE: $1600

A full day appointment is a 7-8 hour appointment that consists of drawing/design layout, tattooing, breaks and aftercare instruction. Mike works fairly fast drawing and tattooing. 

*For some large scale work a full day session will be required to start the project. This is due to the amount of time it will take to plan out the entire project and get the overall layout/foundation of the design tattooed.

LARGE SCALE TATTOO PROJECTS:

Large scale projects include but are not limited to: full or half sleeves (arm or leg), full backs, full torsos, chests, etc. This however does not include patchwork type layouts as used in traditional. For most large scale projects, a full day session is preferred to start — this is because a lot of the first session includes laying out the foundation for the entire tattoo. Large scale multiple session projects should book at least 2 appointments in advance — it is asked that when starting a large scale project, you are ideally able to commit to one session every 4-8 weeks.

 

However exceptions area always made for a variety of circumstances and often I go over multiple options to start sleeve that don't adhere to this. There are a variety of factors that keep people form getting tattooed every month and that's okay a timeline can be discussed at a consultation.

I like to complete large projects within a year of starting them ideally. I am excited to work on and finish larger projects and like to keep the creative momentum going.

DRAWING & DESIGN: 

​

I draw on people and stencil designs about 50/50. Most designs will be ready the day of. I like to get deigns ready in the beginning of appointments when time allows. I will not send designs in advance for any reason. changes for designs can be made the day of. I do not present finished drawings of designs due to the time that would take for each tattoo. 

Large scale work I like to do as much drawing in advance as possible so if your ideas change please reach out before the designs process gets to far.

 

TOUCH UPS:

Touch ups can be scheduled through email anytime within a year of getting tattooed. If you are a client needing a touch up, please email MikeEckborg@gmail.com and include a photo of your tattoo along with your availability. I love touching tattoos up please reach out if it need anything after you heal.

 

NUMBING POLICY:

Honestly I don't have one currently. Use what you prefer however it will be removed once the stencil is put on. A little advice would be to try the product out before the week of your appointment to make sure no adverse effects are caused.

 

DOES MIKE DO COVERUPS?

This depends on the coverup project and if I feel I can confidently cover your existing tattoo while providing the design requested and giving good tattoo as the end result. Not all coverup projects are rejected but not all are taken on — it’s a case by case basis. I can help you figure out your options depending on your case.

Sometimes a few sessions of laser tattoo removal is recommended before covering. Keeping an open mind and allowing the artist creative freedom is essential for coverups as well. If you have any questions about coverups, feel free to contact me via email.

 

DEPOSITS:

A nonrefundable deposit is required for all appointments. This deposit secures your appointment date, time and tattoo design. For large scale multiple session projects, your deposit will be credited towards the total cost of your last appointment.

Deposits vary based on appointment time booked.

A minimum of a $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to book an appointment .

A half day appointment deposit is $300

A full day appointment deposit is $700

All deposits are applied to final cost at the last session of that tattoo

Generally, small to medium size tattoos will be quoted a total cost before you book please feel free to ask for quotes. I will do my best even if it is a range to give a good idea of cost. For larger, multiple session tattoo projects (such as arm sleeves, leg sleeves, back pieces, etc.), expect to book at a few sessions depending on your ability to sit and to pay anywhere from at least $1,200-$6,000+ total to complete your tattoo depending on the project. If you have budgets for sessions please let me know in advance (before booking).

PAYMENT:

• Deposits can be paid online - An invoice will be sent via email for easy payment. Deposits are due within 48 hours of the invoice being sent. If you are not ready to pay your deposit, your date & time will not be held.

• At your tattoo appointment cash is preferred but the shop takes other forms of payment.

• A card processing fee will be applied to all card transactions.

• PayPal, CashApp, checks, etc. NOT ACCEPTED.

 

RESCHEDULE & CANCELLATION POLICY:

As a business, part of our success depends on mutual respect of time. Remembering and respecting the appointment date + time is your responsibility.

​

Please give at least 72 hour notice if you need to reschedule for any reason — with adequate notice, you will be able to carry your deposit with you to your rescheduled date in the event that you need to move your appointment. Appointments can be moved or rescheduled twice without losing your initial deposit. You must reschedule at the time of cancelation for deposit to be held.

​

If you are going to be late or cannot make your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact Mike via email as soon as possible. We get it, things happen - just let us know.

​

If you are 15 mins late with no notice you will sacrifice both your appointment and deposit.  You will be allowed to rebook but will have to leave a new deposit.

​

If not notice is given and you do not show up for your appointment (no call no show) you will sacrifice your deposit as well as ability to book future appointments. This is a long standing policy and their are no exceptions.

​

If your design or ideas change and it do not fit the scope of what I will tattoo for moral or artistic reasons you may forfeit your deposit and appointment if an agreement can not be met.

 

Additionally if you are getting large scale work that requires drawing done ahead of time and your ideas/ design change after its too late you may forfeit your deposit or appointment 

​

I really wish these rules didn't have to be spelled out and everyone showed up for their appointment on time and the day it was scheduled.  I can promise you I would rather tattoo and Id make more, than just keeping a deposit.
